Technology Lab

The ATC carries out profiling and validation of technologies purposed to promote access to safe water, improved sanitation, hygiene and environmental integrity. A Technology Applicability Framework (TAF) tool is used to guide the profiling process. These technologies are always submitted by the innovators/promoters either directly to the Centre or through the Ministry of Water and Environment. Successfully profiled technologies are awarded validation certificates and those that need improvement are guided accordingly. Successfully profiled technologies are listed below.
